I can´t believe how long it´s been since Gene passed. But the memories are still vivid of how special he was. He was fun, upbeat, kind, handsome, talkative, loyal among other positive qualities.
I´m sure that his family and friends still miss him. If only everyone could have such a legacy!
Miss you, dear Gene. Here´s hoping that we will meet again some day!

Gene was always special! As kids we couldn´t wait to visit our "country cousins." We lived in Chicago in a little house on a little lot. The Dorosz´s lived in a big house on a big lot with a swimming pool!
Gene was the oldest like me. He was so handsome, fun, warm, and above all nice! He carried those qualities through adulthood and the rest of his life.
We will miss him forever, but we will carry his memories with us always!

Gene was a special person and cousin. I always looked forward to seeing him as a child and as an adult. He was always upbeat and funny. He was very intelligent and could discuss any topic. He always made you feel as though you were the only person in a room because he gave you his undivided attention. He had the cutest smile and sense of humor. He meant so much to so many people. He touched our lives and left us feeling better about ourselves. He was bigger than life to those that loved him. His goodness lives on through our memories and that is why it is so hard to let go. To have known him was a privilege, and we will always cherish our times with him. May we meet you in Valhalla, Gene! We love you, Pam and Pete Neary
