Dear family of Eugene,

I am so glad I knew your father. He really was a wonderful man and so devoted to his family. He was blessed to have children who cared about him. I'm sorry I was not able to be at the funeral with all of you. When I see you next, we can spend some time remembering his life.

Uncle Gene and Aunt Myrl were always kind, loving, and gracious hosts, particularly, when on the spur-of-the-moment, our parents would decide to drive 180 miles and we would unexpectedly come to visit, often showing up on their doorstep in the middle of the night.
We rejoice that they are reunited and offer our deepest condolences and sympathy at your loss.
