Esther Galindo Obituary

ESTHER ALVAREZ GALINDO passed from this life on May 15, 2002 at the age of 78 years. She was born on May 5, 1924 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Mrs. Galindo is survived by her husband of 61 years, Guadalupe Galindo; sons, Guadalupe Galindo, Jr. and his wife, Linda, Alfredo Galindo and his wife Idalia, Antonio Galindo and his wife, Judy, Jesus Galindo and his wife Lisa, Johnny Galindo and his wife Elsa all of Houston, and Cesar Galindo and his partner, Steve of New York City, New York; daughters, Mercedes Ibarra and her husband, Ascension, Gloria Galindo, Yolanda G. Mercado, Dora Garza and her husband Cayetano, and Carmen Gonzalez and her husband, Gilbert all of Houston brothers, Bernardo Alvarez and Pedro Alvarez, both of Mexico; sisters, Josefina Garza of Mission, Texas, Ofelia Flores, Gabriela Mancillas, Concepcion Castillo, Maria Basilisa, and Roble Gonzalez all of Mexico; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great grandchildren and many extended family members. Family and friends will gather for visitation on Friday, May 17, 2002 beginning at 6:00p.m. at the funeral home. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30pm that same evening in the chapel of South Park Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2002 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, please contact the funeral home for further service information.
