Erik Wright Obituary

Dear Jill, Bill, and family. It was a pleasure to see you again tonight shopping at Ace. Being reminded of your wonderful son Erik and the pleasure of sharing those soccer games so many years ago, I decided to look up Erik’s obituary. Reading the condolences here, I can’t help but note how he touched us all so similarly. While the first thing I recalled when I saw you was his zest for life, energy, smile, and team spirit, his exceptional respectfulness, politeness, and kindness were equally memorable. Your son Erik, truly was, and is, a special kid/young man. I pray that his pain is long since relieved and he now enjoys everyday with our Lord, and that you, his sister, and loved ones, and Erik, are comforted by each other’s love every day.

Eric you will be missed. So glad to have shared time with you, watching you grow up on the soccer field. Always polite, well mannered and a smile that filled the room. Time stops as I search my memories of times when you shined. Till we meet again!

I just learned of Eriks passing. Worked with him in Brookfield. He was always polite, kind and a good worker. Such a huge loss, my heart breaks for his family.

We are very sad to hear of your tragic loss. We know Erik's wonderful smile and spirit will be with you always.

I am so sorry to hear of Erik's passing. I cannot imagine the pain you, Bill, and Ellie are now experiencing. Hopefully the love, thoughts, and expessions of sympathy from your friends and family will help ease that pain as you work through these hard times.

As has been said, there are no words. I just wanted the entire Wright and Stephenson family to know how sorry we are and are holding you all in our prayers. Erik was one of the first students I ever taught in Sunday School and we are grateful to have had you all as part of our Grace Lutheran Church family. I was Erik's Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry teacher back in 2007 - 2008 and I still remember him being a positive influence in the class and asking good questions. I'm really sorry for your loss and the community's loss.

There are many people who come and go in our lives. A few change us in ways that change us forever.....making us better for knowing them. Erik your life was a blessing. I enjoyed working with you and even happier to call you my friend :-). You're so wonderful to think of, But so hard to be without. I will never forget your kind heart and beautiful smile.

Erik was a charming, kind, respectful and funny guy. I will always remember the times we spent talking and laughing together at work. While the loss of a loved one is never easy, it is most certainly the hardest when they are taken from us too soon. May your memories of Erik and the love of your family and friends surround you and give you strength and peace in the days ahead. Please accept our deepest sympathies. I knew Erik only through Willowbrook as we were a few years apart. However my husband grew up next to him and his family. Our deepest condolences to Eriks family!
