EMILIE MULAC Emilie Mulac (nee Raschke), age 91, a resident of Monarch Landing in Naperville, formerly of Downers Grove, died on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at Tabor Hills Healthcare Facility in Naperville. She was born June 17, 1922, in Norfolk, Nebraska. Beloved wife of the late Richard Mulac, whom she married September 24, 1943, loving mother of Connie (Don) Garrison of Huntley, and Deborah (Ted) Dorion of Wheaton, adored grandmother of Scott (Valerie) Garrison, Joy Garrison (Guy Lewis), and Jeff (Lynn) Garrison; Christopher (Karen) Dorion, Julie Dorion (Sean Madden) and Daniel (Jamie) Dorion, cherished great-grandmother of Thomas, Benjamin and William; Jessica, Catherine and David; Joey and Caroline; Ryan and Sam, step-grandmother of Austin and Dakota; great-great grandmother of Erica Ann, devoted daughter of the late William and Martha Raschke, dear sister of Ken (Sylvia) Raschke of Minnesota and the late Bill and Marian, fond aunt of many. Emilie grew up in Norfolk, Nebraska, and was a graduate of Norfolk High School. She moved to Chicago during World War II, and worked for Alcoa Inc. as a forklift driver. Emilie later drove a school bus and was employed by the College of DuPage, Glen Ellyn, for 16 years as an Assistant Librarian. She enjoyed playing bridge, square dancing and loved to decorate, especially to paint. She was an excellent cook and family often requested her famous "green stuff" at holiday dinners. Memorial Visitation Friday, November 1, 2013, 1:00-5:00 P.M. at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St, Naperville. Memorial Services will follow Friday, 5:00 P.M. in the funeral home with Rev. Gary Waters officiating. Future Inurnment: Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Darien.
