Emil Solonka Obituary
Emil Solonka, Jr., "Butch", age 72, passed away Monday, May, 24, 2021 at LaGrange Hospital. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran with the Marine Corps from 1969-1970, an avid golfer and dedicated 42 years to Vulcan Materials Company in McCook. Butch is survived by his wife Vickie (nee Latham); children Charles (Brandy) and Lisa (the Late Donald); grandchildren Adam, Charles N., EmilyJane, Brytin, Hanley, Grace, Conlan, Michelle, Pauline and Arvin; and siblings Carl, Frances (the late Jimmy) and Elsie (the late Bob). Visitation Friday, May 28, 2021 at 9:00am, followed by a funeral service at 10:00am at Anderson Memorial Chapel, 606 Townhall Dr, Romeoville, IL 60446. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 23060 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60431. Please refrain from sending floral arrangements.

I'm, So sorry for Your Loss. Butch is a special person I was lucky enough to know. His son Charlie and my son Ryan has been for over 30 years . He's been my neighbor longer than that , a friend and like 2nd Dad to my son. They would tease other and have fun doing it ! He is a person that You could on no matter what , That is Butch .
