Elaine Diane Gartner (nee Klecka) passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Meadowbrook Manor in Bolingbrook, Illinois on Friday, August 24th 2018, at the age of 65.
Elaine is survived by her husband, Thomas M. Gartner; and their five sons, Adam (Pamela), Daniel (Erika), Jason (Maricel), Eric, and Thomas; her sister, Carole (Craig) Huber; and five grandchildren, Veronica, Julian, Sophia, Addison, and Adam; along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
She is greeted in Heaven by her parents, Emil and Elizabeth Klecka; her brother, Wayne Klecka; niece, Laura Huber; and nephew, Josh Klecka.
Elaine was born on June 13, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois to Emil and Elizabeth Klecka, and graduated from Bogan High School in 1971. She married Thomas Gartner in 1977. The couple settled in Bolingbrook, Illinois, where Elaine was a homemaker and loving mother to their five children, and worked as a real estate agent for several years.
Friends and family are welcome to attend the celebration of Elaine's life on Friday, August 31st, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Adolf Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 7000 South Madison Street, Willowbrook, Illinois 60527.
