Elaine Doerfler Obituary

Elaine S. Doerfler, nee Svoboda, age 88, of Stevens Point, WI, formerly of Broadview and Fox Lake, IL. Beloved wife of the late Lester Doerfler. Loving mother of Donna (Alan) Gerds and the late "Junior" Doerfler. Fond sister of the late Robert (the late Olga) Svoboda. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W Cermak Rd (2 blks W of Mannheim Road), Westchester on Thursday January 22, 2009 from 9am until time of funeral services at 12 Noon. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Elaine was an active member of the Chicago Chapter of the New Outlook Pioneers of Western Electric/AT & T and will be remembered for her ballroom dancing at the Aragon Ballroom in the 1940's and also enjoyed jazz and tap dancing.
