I worked with Eileen at Edward Hospital and knew her as a sweet and friendly person, she always had a smile on her face and kind word. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family during this difficult time.

I am Eileen's Niece I always used to try and get into her room and her business when she had friends over when I was little and then she would tell me to get out and a minute later she would come looking for me to make sure she didn't hurt my feelings. No matter what She was always so kind and loving she had the biggest heart and biggest smile. I love you so much and will miss you forever Auntie Eileen. I am so grateful I got to share her as godmother to my Son we are both so blessed to have had her.

It was a pleasure to know Eileen. I worked with her briefly at the Glen Ellyn CIinic. She was always so very nice and pleasant to work with. Her life was cut so short but in this time she has touched so many lives. She will be greatly missed.

Eileen always put patients first. From getting someone a warm blanket; to finding a place with dim lighting and a recliner as an ill patient was prepping for their exam. Then there was the funny side. I remember when I had part of a song melody stuck in my head. After canvassing the others in the department, I asked Eileen if she knew the song. She said she knew who would know and immediately called Stacy. Even with only part of the melody and my poor singing, Stacy identified the song-"Kids Aren't Alright" by Offspring. Eileen will be missed and I would like to express heartfelt condolences to Stacy, Mr and Mrs Pinkowski, and I we'll keep the family in our prayers.
