Earl Munson Obituary
Earl R. Munson, 76, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother in law, and friend, passed away peacefully at home March 9, 2012. Earl was born August 19, 1935 to Earl Wesley and Hanna Marie Jensen Munson in Two Harbors, MN. He married Suzanne Genevieve Tuttle for time and eternity in the Salt Lake Temple September 20, 1963.
Earl was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a hard worker and diligent provider for his family. He was always active in sports having played college football. He was a devoted coach for little league football and served many years in the scouting program. Earl was an active member of the LDS Church. He had many interests and hobbies that included reading, gardening, hunting, and camping. He had a wonderful sense of humor that endured to the end.
Survived by his wife Suzanne G. Munson and children, Zane (Andria) Munson, Paul (Tammy) Munson, Angela Grygla, Harlen (Cheryl) Munson, and Hollie Munson; 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Hanna along with 2 brothers Martin & Alden Munson; and 1 sister Margaret.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 16, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Heritage 5th Ward, 6772 S 3420 W West Jordan. Visitation will be Thursday, March 15th from 6 to 8:00pm and on Friday 1 hour prior to services. Military burial at Camp Williams.

Angela,
I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I know there will be many tears shed in the coming months from missing his presence, his smile, his voice, his thoughtfulness. In our grief I feel that we forget one really important thing and that is to celebrate their life. Sharing those memories you have of him with your family and friends not only celebrates his life but helps you through this most difficult time in your life.
