E. Carlson Obituary

E. Marion Carlson, nee Wilson, 93, of Downers Grove for over 50 years, passed away March 1, 2009 at Westmont Convalescent Center. She was born on December 30, 1915 in Chicago, IL. Mrs. Carlson was a member of Women of the Moose in Downers Grove. She is survived by three sons, C. Leigh (Kitty), Vern R. (Geri), and Alfred Ron (Margie); nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grand-children; nieces and nephews. Mrs. Carlson was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and A. Hazel Wilson; husband, Vern (1997); siblings, Alfred, John, Wesley Wilson and Catherine Callahan. Visitation Wednesday, March 4 from 3-9 p.m. at Toon Funeral Home, 4920 Main Street, Downers Grove, where services will be held on Thursday, March 5 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment at Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Darien, IL.
