Douglas Dall Obituary

Douglas Leonard Dall, born June 25, 1941 passed away on October 31, 2011. He is survived by his children Kirk Douglas Dall, Victoria Serrato, and Ginger (Dave) Farley, Nancy (Thomas) Johns, Richard Browning, and Kathryn Terpening; grandchildren Kyle Douglas Dall, Kassi Dall (Ryan) Stanley, Kayla Dall, Kirk Dall Jr., Shawna Serrato, Anthony Serrato, Shawn Douglas Farley, Jacob Farley, David May, Jeremiah Terpening, Jennifer Terpening, Christopher Terpening, Jessica Gatewood, Shelby Gatewood, and Veronica Johns; sister Linda Worthington and her children Richard (Wendy) Hunt and their children great-nephew and nieces Josh, Valerie, Cassie, and Grace; Lisa Worthington and her children, great-nephew Christopher and great niece Naomi; brother and sister-in-law Donald and Nancy Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Leonard Dall; his wife, Jeanne Ann Dall and children Kevin Browning, and William Browning. Doug was a lifelong third generation railroader for the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad and Union Pacific. Doug was a US Army veteran and was past commander of West Chicago American Legion Post 300. Doug spent most of his life in West Chicago, moving to a townhome in St Charles for the last few years of his life. He and his wife spent 20 years volunteering at Central DuPage Hospital. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until time of service 7:00 p.m. at Williams-Woodward funeral home 820 Pine St. (Corner of Rt. 59 and Pine St.) West Chicago. Interment private.
