Dorreen Waite Obituary

Dorreen Waite, 89, passed away November 14, 2010 in Pueblo, Colorado after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William Waite and her son, Bruce Waite. Dorreen is survived by her daughter, Judy Waite, of Beulah, CO and her son, Bill (Loretta) Waite of Cape Coral, FL. Dorreen was born in London, England on June 30, 1921. She was brought to the U.S. by her mother at the age of 2 and became a Naturalized Citizen. Dorreen served as a Wave in the Navy during WWII at Floyd Bennett Field in New York. She married Bill Waite on January 3, 1948 and they lived in Chicago. They moved to Elmhurst in 1953, where she resided until 2004. She moved to Pueblo, CO where she lived the last six years of her life. Arrangements pending.
