Visitation Wednesday, November 2nd, 3:00PM to 8:00PM at Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home, 4343 Main St. (1 blk. So. of Ogden Ave.) Downers Grove and Visitation Thursday, November 3rd, 10:00AM until time of Funeral Service 11:00AM at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 4501 Main St., Downers Grove. Interment Private.

The Walker School Class of 1960 recently had a reunion. Dorothy was mentioned by many classmates as their favorite teacher. She was remembered for her kindness, smile, and beauty. She also taught in other District 181 schools and was remembered by many of the Hinsdale High School Class of 1966 was kind and caring. She touched many lives. As a young teacher I taught social studies to Susan Neder at Puffer School. When my oldest daughter, Elizabeth, was at Oak School in Hinsdale she had Dorothy. Elizabeth thrived in Dorothy's classroom and she remembers Dorothy fondly. Betsy Salmon Miller

Dorothy was my 2nd Grade teacher at Walker School when she was still Miss Kouba. She was one of my favorite teachers of all time. Rest in peace "Miss Kouba."

She was my second grade teacher at Walker School just after our family moved to Clarendon Hills in the fall of 1955. Her pleasant, positive approach toward education made her one of my favorite all-time teachers (my sister's too). Deepest condolences to the family.
