Tom,

With our deepest sympathy at the loss of your mother. Dorothy was such a friendly and wonderful person. She always took the time to say hi and talk with Walt and I when she saw us at Gulf Bay Apartments. Remembering her from those days bring comfort during this difficult time. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Ann and family,

My condolences on the passing of your mother. She was a lovely and special woman. I have lots good memories of my association with her as our Camp Fire Girls group leader. She was always helpful and kind and had great ideas for special projects and learning experiences for our group.

Also, I will never forget a Swedish Christmas dinner that Dorothy and Bud hosted at your house that I and other young girls attended. Your parents and you wore traditional Swedish holiday garb and served delicious native foods. The table decorations were so different and delightful. I think Bud was dressed as St. Olaf (seated at the head of the table), and you walked in from the kitchen wearing a wreath on your head with lit candles all over it and carrying a plate of "goodies". It was quite an event! I'm fuzzy on the details from 60+- years ago, but the surprise and delight I felt at experiencing another culture that night is still with me.

Love and God's Blessings,

To Dorothy's family,
Please accept our sympathy at passing of a truly lovely lady. We have such fond memories of both Dorothy and Bud, and the world is certainly a better place because they were both with us. May you be forever blessed with loving memories of both of them.

Dear Ann,
Your mother surely played an important role in my life through Campfire Girls and her love and leadership. It takes a special person - and she was that. She gave of herself to bless us all.
And she was blessed in return to have the care and love and devotion that you gave to her, especially in these recent years when her health was declining
My heart goes out to you and your family. God bless.
