Dorothy M. King, age 95, of Downers Grove, formerly of Berkley, IL passed away. Beloved wife of the late John C. King (1989); loving mother of Barbara (Kenneth) Lehpamer and Judy (late James) Cavins; devoted grandmother of Steven (Lori) Lehpamer, Timothy (Sheryl) Cherney, Michael (Tina) Lehpamer, Todd (Shawn) Cherney, Cheryl (Brian) Tutert and Robert Cherney; cherished great-grandmother of Kyle, Mitchell, Jake and Bryce Tutert, Nicole and Melissa Lehpamer, Kirk, Kevin and Susan Lehpamer, Sarah and Chase Cherney, Evan and Morgan Cherney also Cory, Timothy and Samantha Cherney; proud great-great grandmother of 3. Preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Many nieces, nephews and dear friends also survive. Dorothy worked 17 years for the Dana Corp., volunteered at Good Samaritan Hospital for 10 years, belonged to Naims, Holy Trinity Seniors and a Card Club. Memorials to St. Thomas Hospice would be appreciated. Visitation was Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Toon Funeral Home, 4920 Main St., Downers Grove, IL from 2-6 p.m. Funeral services were Monday, 9:30 from Toon Funeral Home to St. Joseph Catholic Church for 10 a.m. Mass.
