Janett Murphy Obituary

Age 102, of Boston, Tamworth, NH and Sun City, AZ, went home to the Lord on January 3, 2008. She was born in Boston, MA, July 18, 1905 to James and Jenny McInnis. Nana was preceded in death by her husband Robert F. Murphy, Sr. She is survived by her son Robert F. Murphy, Jr., daughter-in-law Joyce E. Murphy, grandchildren Karen L. McMillan, Donna M. James, Kimberly C. Shray, great-granddaughters Ashley McMillan, Chelsea McMillan, Rachael A. Wilkerson and Leslie M. Russell. Nana had a full and beautiful life with many close relatives and friends. She traveled extensively to the Maratime Provinces and Ontario, Canada to visit her many relatives and friends. She was one of the original "Revlon Girls" as well as a representative for Estee Lauder and Helena Rubinstein. Later in life after her husband passed away in 1968, Nana moved from Boston to Tamworth, NH, and resided in NH from 1969- 2003. She wintered in and eventually moved to AZ in 2003. Nana will be interred with husband, Robert F. Murphy, Sr. at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester, MA. A Memorial will be held at Brighton Gardens Nursing Home, 19225 Boswell Blvd, Sun City, AZ, January 10, 2008 at 1:30 PM.
