Doris Tindall Obituary
Of Westtown, formerly of Ridley Park
Doris June Tindall (nee Meyers), of Westtown, formerly of Ridley Park, passed away on April 29, 2015. Born in 1925 in Upland, she was the daughter of the late Frances M. and Christopher L. Meyers, Sr. Doris attended the Pierce Business College and worked as an Executive Secretary with Scott Paper. She was the judge of elections for 35 years in Thornbury Twp., Chester County.
Doris was also involved in the figure skating community at the Skating Club of Wilmington and the Philadelphia Skating Club and Humane Society. She volunteered in the Chester Hospital Gift Shop and was a member of the We Go Rotary Club. Doris was the beloved wife of the late Rodger A. Tindall; the loving mother of Pamela A. Tindall-Becker (James Michael), Rodger Keith Tindall (Ann Marie Waterhouse), and the late Cynthia Marie Tindall; and the dear sister of Helene Pratt, the late Christopher L. Meyers, Jr., and the late Grace M. Craig.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, 10:30-11:30am at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, (610-431-9000), immediately followed by her Funeral Service at 11:45am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market St., Suite 102, Phila., PA 19106, or The Caring Hospice, 400 Commerce Dr., Suite C, Fort Washington, PA 19034. DJ was such a great, funny, generous and caring lady! She was always so loving to me as I grew up. The Turnbull family is so sorry for your loss! Our condolences go to you Keith and Pam, I'm sure Roger is blessed to have his girl!

So very sorry to hear about DJ's passing. She was a dear friend to my mother, Marjorie McDonald, who just passed away in February. My memories of DJ are that she was kind, quick-witted and always smiling. I remember how devoted Roger was to her, and what a loving couple they were. And now they are reunited once again.

I am so sorry to hear about DJ. She was such a wonderful person at the rink and loved the kids there. She took care of us at times when we needed it.

DJ was a very special lady always a kind heart and kind words to michelle myself and my family she did so much for scw and and really cared a lot about the people who belonged very kind and supportive to the children there also.we are saddened to hear of her passing and send our deepest sympathy to keith and the rest of her family DJ was one in a million
