Doris L. Pausche (nee Marx) born August 2, 1933, at peace December 28, 2017, age 84.

Beloved wife of the late Fred Pausche, Jr.; loving mother of Steve (Dawn), Ken (Catherine) and Lori (Bill) Mertz; cherished Grandee of Beth (Jason) Wegner, Amber (Arturo) Vera, Scott (Jasmine), Trina Bowen, Cody Bowen, Conor, Cara, and Quinn; Great-Grandee of Joshua Wegner and Noah and Dylan Vera.

Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Emily Marx; brother, Charles, Jr.; and her precious dog, Angel. Survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

Doris dedicated her life to her family and precious animals. She spent countless hours preparing for every birthday and holiday, making sure there was an abundance of food and presents for both her human and pet family alike. Doris' generosity and devotion will forever be missed by those who knew her.

The family wishes to thank the many medical professionals who have treated her during her illness and the staff of the Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care in Naperville, Illinois, for their compassionate care and support for Doris and her family during her final days.

A visitation was on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Adams, Winterfield, & Sullivan Funeral Home, 4343 Main Street (one blk. S. of Ogden) Downers Grove, Illinois. Mass of Christian Burial followed at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of Gostyn Catholic Church in Downers Grove. Internment immediately followied at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1400 S. Wolf Road, Hillside. Guests were welcomed to attend a celebration luncheon at Alpine Banquet House, 11141 W. Roosevelt Road in Westchester immediately following burial.
