My deepest sympathies go out to my Brother In Law, Rick Bernsee on the passing of his Beloved Sister, Donna.
My thoughts and prayers are also with Ricky & Norma and the rest of the Bernsee Family at this difficult time. Donna will always hold a special place in our hearts and be remembered very fondly by everyone.

I was blessed on knowing Donna thru my twin Norma. Donna reminded me, on those days when I went with Norma to visit her, to "stop and smell the roses". Tho Donna could not communicate normally, she made her presence known to us by making us aware of everything around us. That made me grateful for all that I have and of my loving family. Norma is one of the very few sent here from God who had the patience and love for a family member that she committed herself to but never expecting anything in return. But I am sure she has now gained her very own guardian angel to watch over her, Ricky and Rick. May Donna now be with her parents in heaven and at peace...from Mimi Ries

Thank you everyone who was a part of DOnna's life, near or far, your kind words & Your support means alot to us. DOnna was blessed to have people like Howe Center,Tinley Park, for a few years, and then Sequins Agency, who since 2008, they became a part of her daily life, the wonderful and caring caregivers who took care of her in theLyons house, the school in Cicero who also enriched her life every day MOn-Fri, you all made her years a better quality of life environment,& helping me with the responsibilities, and a choice she didnt have with her life. She accepted it the best she could..comfort,her coffee, her food..thats what kept her content.I was blessed to had been given this gift to know Donna through marriage, she taught me so much and that even tho she couldnt expresee herself verbally, she lived her life as best as God wanted her to live and her example of courage left a mark in us.
Thank you.
