There are no right words to make it all better with the loss of someone so close as a husband, dad and grandfather. We would like to let you know we are thinking of all of you at this most difficult time. It goes without saying that Don touched a lot of lives and was admired by many but not more than by you, his family. He will be in your hearts forever and you can celebrate a life well lived. My deepest condolences, Patrick, on the loss of your dad. The mark that he, your mom, your siblings and you have made in Chicago and far places like Souh Bend and Green Bay are a true testimony to an unusual generosity of spirit and treasure. Because of this he shall be missed, but his memory will be cherished by thousands, many of whom did not even know him.

May the road rise to meet him and the (tail) wind be always at his back. May God hold his generous, caring heart in the palm of His hand.
May your mom, your brother and sister, you, and all soon lift a toast to this marvelous man.
