To Each & Everyone of You who Prayed for my Father, my Mother, and my Family:

You gave us strength with the embrace of a hug, a caring touch, or gentle words.

You phoned, sent cards, flowers and more. An overwhelming feeling will remain in our hearts of the compassion in your kind gestures.

You comforted us with your Love, Respect, Fondness and Friendship for my Father.

You brought us a smile, when we were shedding a tear with a story that was so impeccably clear.

You worked with my Father, You created with my Father, You enjoyed life with my Father, You made memories with my Father. You told us funny stories of my Father. You gave us more, when we didnt think we could have more.

and then,

You CELEBRATED My FATHERS LIFE With Us.

My Family will, forever in our hearts be greatful.

We are so sorry for your loss. Even though we did not know Don well, we do know Sharon well and have seen over the years what a wonderful person she is and how much love and respect she has for her Dad and you. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I am stunned and saddened to hear about Don's passing. He was one of the good guys. He was very genuine and a pleasure to work with. He will be sorely missed. Please accept my most sincere condolences. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Don was a long time friend who always had something positive to say about others, he complimented YOU and YOUR accomplishments when HE was the one being congratulated. A true and very creative professional, Don will be long remembered for his dedication to United Airlines. God Bless Him.

In addition to being a fine photographer and aviation historian Don was a lot of fun to be around because of his upbeat, positive outlook on life. His passing is our loss but heaven's gain.

I'm so sorry to hear of Don's passing. When I first came to EXO in 1979, he made at least one part of my life easy for me in helping me through a very difficult project. From that time on he was a true favorite of mine. My deepest sympathy to the family.

I was saddened to learn of Don's death. He was indeed a true professional who truly enjoyed his experiences. We often talked about our respective roles within United and I became a huge fan of his--and his talent. He was one of a kind! My deepest sympathy to all.

Sharon and family, my heart and prayers go out to you in this very difficult time! I remember Don being a kind and talented person. (he jump started my car at 6 a.m. after I stayed-over at their Clarenden Hills home). He did an amazing job on a touching audio visual presentation of you and John at your wedding.

After I left United Airlines in 1987, Don was one of a handful of professional friends that I stayed in touch with. I hated to have my photo taken, but Don always made it comfortable and fun. I will miss his kindness and will always remember him as the most genuine person I knew during my tenure at United. Heaven is in for a real treat!

Don was a friend first and foremost, and a valued member of our club, the Woodland Aero Modelers of Downers Grove. All in our club will miss him dearly. Robert Boen (Oak Brook, IL)
