To the Brown Family
I remember meeting Don at a military Chaplain conference many years ago. If I remember correctly, when I joined the 85th Div, John Stieve would have the family gatherings & we would have an enjoyable time.
I do remember Don do some editing of some handout at a chaplain meeting. Since I had a background in history & journalism, we would joke about how some folks didn't know how use the English language, especially those who should have known.
May our Lord's comfort be with you folks. May the power of Christ's Resurrection sustain you now & always.
Paul D. Pfeffer, Pastor
former 85th Div Chaplain

Brown Family, our deepest sympathies in this time of sadness. I have some of my fondest memories with Don in them. Mom and Don's wedding in 1973 and again when they renewed their vows in 1998. When he married Gary and I in 2003 in the Library in Del Web in front of the fireplace. He will always be in our hearts. In time I hope you find comfort in knowing how many lives he touched.
