Donald Brothers Obituary

Donald S. Brothers, 96, of Bradenton, Fla., died Tuesday, April 4.
Born Aug. 24, 1909 in Stamford, Vt., he was the son of Bert A. and Florence (Cutler) Brothers. He graduated in 1927 from Drury High School, North Adams, Mass. He moved to Bradenton in 1982 from Springfield.
He was an instructor at Hamilton Standard Division of United Technologies.
He was a member of Evangelical Covenant Church.
His first wife, Qwynedd Mumford, whom he married Sept. 15, 1930, died in 1981. His second wife, Esther Billmeier, whom he married May 30, 1987, died May 15, 1997.
He leaves his wife, F. Irene Potts, whom he married Feb. 14, 2000; three nephews, Frederick Mumford of Cumberland, R.I., William Mumford of Bradenton and James Caron of Oxford, N.Y.; five nieces, Vera Hubbard of Lake Placid, Fla., Audrey O’Brien of Pittsfield, Lois Fillmore of Milford, Del., Barbara Plona of Forest Park, Ill. and Marian Wittig of Killawog, N.Y.
A sister, Marian Caron, is deceased.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Donald Brothers will be held Sunday, April 9, 2 p.m. at Trailer Estate Large Hall in Bradenton.
Memorial donations may be made to Trailer Estates Evangelical Covenant Church, P.O. Box 6150, Bradenton, FL 34281.
Brown & Sons Funeral Home 26th Street Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
