Diane Josd Obituary

Diane M. Josd, age 60, passed away September 10, 2010. Diane began her library career as a volunteer at the grade school her daughter Chris went to. After working at the Westchester Public Library Diane found her home at the LaGrange Public Library. She has worked there almost 17 years in circulation and most every other department. Diane noticed a demand from the library patrons for an in library notary public. Diane discussed this with the library director. After his approval, she applied for the Notary Public credentials. Almost thirty years after high school Diane and her high school boyfriend Richard reconnected. They have been married for eleven marvelous years. Their time has been spent with her daughter's children, trips downtown shopping on Michigan Ave, visiting museums, motorcycle trips and many vacations to Walt Disney World with Richard. Everyone knew of Diane's jewelry making and creative expertise sewing and designing and producing miniatures. Diane was always conscientious of her healthy eating along with working out most every day. She enjoyed her treadmill, roller blades and Pilates exercises. A very aggressive cancer took her life. Both her father Louis Speno and her mother Emily have passed on. Her sister Pauline also predeceased her. At home are her loving husband Richard Josd and her beloved daughter Chris and her husband Tim Childress with their four children; Shannon, Simon, Liam and Ian. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL. Funeral was September 13, 2010, Monday at the funeral home. Visitation was September 12, 2010 Sunday at Conboy Westchester Funeral Home, Westchester, IL. 708-F-U-N-E-R-A-L
