LAUREL SPRINGS - It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our kind and loving mother, Susan C. Enscore, 55, of Greensboro, who died at her home in Laurel Springs on Tuesday, March 1, 2005. Susan was born on Feb. 28, 1950, to James H. Bryant and Ruth B. Anthony. She was a loving wife and mother, and is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jerry Enscore, and two sons, Jamie and Johnny Enscore, both of Kernersville. She is also survived by her aunt and uncle, Rachel and Earl Allred, and her half brother, Mr. Cleve Anthony. A gentle wind blew cross the land; reaching out to take a hand; For on the winds the angels came; calling out a mother's name; Left behind the children's tears; loving memories of the years; Of joy and love, a life well spent; And now to God, a mother's sent; On angels wings, a heavenly flight; the journey home towards the light; To those who weep, a life is gone; But in God's love, 'tis but the dawn. Susan was a very loving, giving and cherished woman. Not only was she a wonderful mother to her two sons, but she was like a mother to many others. She will be missed dearly by so many close friends and family. A private memorial service will be held at the home for immediate family. Susan loved and cared for many animals, and in lieu of flowers, her wishes were for donations to be made to the Ashe County Humane Society, P.O. Box 1776, West Jefferson, NC 28694, Attn: Gaylene Lee.

Jerry, Jamie, and Johnny, I was shocked to read of Susan's passing and know she will be greatly missed. She was a great lady and I've missed seeing you folks in the neighborhood. Please give me a call when you have a chance because it would be good to hear from you. The number is the same. God bless you all during this difficult time.

Jamie, Johnny, and Jerry. . . we are so sorry to hear about the loss of such a wonderful mother and wife. Keep your faith in God, he is protecting her now. With each day you'll find the strength to look back on all the good times and forget the bad. She's an angel of God, now, and is watching over you, too. May God be with you along with our prayers!
