Denny Dahlgren Obituary
Denny J. Dahlgren was born in Ottumwa, Iowa to Charley and Madalyn (nee Hall) Dahlgren on July 13th, 1939. He married Delphine (nee Waszak) on October 11th, 1969 at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church in Cicero, Illinois.
Denny was a SGTE5 in the 131ST INFANTRY Army/National Guard. Upon his Honorable Discharge in 1968 he started his career as an automotive technician working with 18 Wheeler semi trucks and ended his career as Dealer Parts Manager of the year at Illinois Auto Thermo King.
Denny is survived by his wife Dee, his children Dawn (Dontá Hyde) Dahlgren and Duane Dahlgren, and his brother Steve (Nancy) Dahlgren. He is the PROUD grandpa/Babe to Payton, Uncle to Jeff (Jackie) Dahlgren, and great Uncle to Jeremy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 9:30 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services 9445 W. 31st Street Brookfield, IL 60513. Funeral Wednesday 10 A.M. to St. Louise de Marillac Church, La Grange Park. Mass 10:30 A.M.
