Dennis R. Bloom, Vietnam War Air Force Veteran, age 68, beloved husband of the late Gloria Olszewski. Dearest father of Kim (Thomas) Targosz, Donald (Jenni) Knippenberg, Julie (David) Drake, Karen (Justin) Holland and the late Kirk (Wanda) Knippenberg. Loving Papa of Bryan, Scott, Craig and Danielle Targosz, Katlyn, Alexa, Jacob, Kylie, Hannah and Jessica Knippenberg, Devin and Dylan Drake and Austin Holland. Devoted brother of Lawrence (Mary Ann), Phillip (Kaye), Steven (Amanda), Joel (Judy) and John (Judie).
Dennis was a member of Local IBEW #134.
Memorial visitation Sunday, January 25, 2015, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:30 p.m., at RICHARD J. MODELL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 12641 W. 143rd St., Homer Glen.
