Dear Aunt Margie and Uncle Delmer: After receiving your Xmas card I was shocked to hear the news. Dusty and I enjoyed many of good times in our youth. So much that Dusty was my oldest son's god- father. Rest in Peace .

I am so very sorry to read of Dusty's untimely passing. I had the honor of working with him on numerous transportation projects around the Zion area, and always found him to be both professional and funny to deal with. His humor and personality lit up the room anytime he entered it. May you find strength in knowing how well respected and like Dusty was by those of us in the Public Works profession. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Dusty had a zest for life rarely encountered. I knew him professionally in the '70s, '80s and '90s. God bless; he will be missed by many.

Lore, we had beautiful memories of Dusty at your home the other night. Words cannot express our deepest sorrow for you now without your beloved Dusty. Meghan, Jon, Alex, Dan and Kate know how wonderful he was as do the rest of the neighborhood. He was so good to you and the kids. He will be deeply missed by us all. Never could beat him on the golf course. He had so many passions in life but the biggest one of all was spending time with you.
