David Zurek Obituary

Sorry to hear of David's untimely passing. Condolences to his family and friends. I knew him as a tenant in his building and he was a fine man. I can only echo Mr. Jalove's comments. May God bless his soul.

It is a privilege to say I knew Dave Zurek, a man who made this Earth a more beautiful place literally & figuratively. Literally with his hands - maintaining & beautifying nature; and figuratively with his integrity & decency.

I witnessed all of these attributes personally and was always impressed by them. I never saw a problem he couldn't solve, and swiftly. Dave definitely had a bias for action & a knack for successful results. I cannot offer higher praise, but only try to emulate his character.

God does act in mysterious ways as Dave was the picture of health - active, productive, & engaged; seemingly full of life and then - stunningly - gone, tho I fully trust to that place where the strong & good remain.

I wish peace to his loved ones & hope they can take strong comfort knowing how impressive a man Dave was, and the positive mark he made in this life.
