Hi have know Dave since we lived in the same neighborhood in Chicago, IL. since grown up on Kostner Ave. Dave and I also got drafted the same day, and we both went to Basic Training at Ft. Knox, KY. we were in the same Co. D - 11 - 3, but we were in different platoons. After Basic Dave went to Ft. Sam Huston, TX. and became a Medic. Dave went to Japan to treat Vietnam Veterans that were wounded from Vietnam. I went to the 3/4 Cavalry in Hawaii & Cu Chi, Vietnam, we didn't see each other until I came back from Vietnam and the night I came home Dave and three other guys from the neighborhood came over to my parents house ran the door bell and said let's go out for a beer, I didn't feel comfortable doing that, that night. But we did after that, and like we did before we ever went to Vietnam. Dave was a Great Veteran, friend, and family man to his family. God Bless - R.I.P. Brother.
