David Strouse David Strouse, age 51, died December 6, 2013 of cardiac arrest. Beloved husband of Rosario "Rusty " Strouse; loving father of daughter Lourdes; endearing son of Lee and Joan Strouse; brother of the late Jeff Strouse. Dave was a 1980 graduate of York High School, and a 1984 graduate of Valparaiso University College of Business. He received a Master of Business Administration degree with distinction from Benedictine University in 1987. He was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow. Dave had a distinguished career in the institutional investment field with over 25 years of service in financial analysis, portfolio management and executive director positions with Brinson Partners and UBS Global Asset Management in Chicago. He served on the board of directors of the Park Shore Condominium Association in Chicago for 14 years, 10 years as board president. He was an active supporter of The Night Ministry 's mission to provide care for people struggling with poverty or homelessness, as well as for Misericordia 's community of care for persons with developmental disabilities. The Strouses extend special thanks to relatives, friends and colleagues for their love and support during this extremely difficult time. Visitation Friday, December 20, 2013, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Road, Elmhurst. Memorial Service Saturday, December 21, at 11:00 a.m. at Elmhurst Presbyterian Church, 367 S. Spring Road, Elmhurst. Interment Private.
