David Palmer Obituary

We will always remember Uncle Dave, his warm sense of humor, and the twinkle in his eye. What a great reunion it must be for all those who preceded him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you, especially our dear sweet Aunt Betty.

Dear Betty, Dave, Jay and Jerry:

Sorry about the loss of such a great man. I am sure he is busy with family members gone on before him and such a great reunion going on. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you, but you will be together again someday. It seems hard now, but faith will get you through it.

It was an honor to join with you today to honor your husband and father. As Jay so well expressed, families are a very important institution to all. Thank you for your love and being part of our family. As I shared with you, Dave was my first home-teaching companion and I still remember many of the lessons that he taught me by example.

Dear Betty, It has been quite sometime since I retired from the school district--I was so sorry to hear about your sweet Dave and his illness and now his death. Over the years when he was the custodian at Jordan Valley, the school fairly glistened from Dave's attention to detail--alway so quick to clean up yet another wet spot!
