DAVID M. MONTGOMERY
MINFORD-David M. Montgomery, 60, of Minford, died Sunday, February 21, 2016, at the James Cancer Center in Columbus. Born on January 19, 1956 in Portsmouth, he was a son of Charles and Frances Born Montgomery, was a retired supervisor at Greenlawn Cemetery in Portsmouth with 30 years of service, and attended South Webster Baptist Church.
Dave was preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon Montgomery.
Surviving are two sons, David M. (Sandy) Montgomery of Sciotoville and Ryan E. Montgomery of Minford; a daughter, Andrea Burriss of Vanceburg, KY; his parents, Charles and Frances Montgomery of Minford; five brothers, Mike, Mark, Jim, Charles and Randy Montgomery, all of Minford; four sisters, Mary Etterling of Wheelersburg, Debbie Horner of Franklin Furnace, Sandy McCann of Minford and Margaret Brown of Circleville and seven grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 24th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE. Interment will be in Bennett Cemetery.
The family will receive guests at Brant's from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
