Thinking about Dr Lichtenwalter today. He became our dentist in 1988 when we moved to Glen Ellyn. Any dentist I have seen since his passing, always comments on the beauty of his work. What a blessing it was knowing him. And I still remember his wonderful smile, warm gracious ways and incredible competence. What a blessing he has been.

I am sad to hear that Dr. Lichtenwalter passed away. I worked for him as a dental assistant when I was high school and summers during my university years. He was a nice boss and very good dentist. To this day (40 years later) dentists see the work in my mouth and compliment (him) the high quality. my sincere condolences

I was so sad to hear of Dr. Lichtenwalters passing. I worked as his chair side assistant in the early 70's and will always have fond memories of sharing this time period with him! He was always so gracious, kind and patient to work for! He was so committed to his patients and excellence in dentistry which included standing while he worked from 7am until 7 pm each and every day!
I was blessed to receive an incredible knowledge base from both him and Jacquie which I carried on in career in dental for many years!
What a wonderful gift.. to pass on his practice to his son who was just a young boy at the time I was there!
May God bless your family..

Dr. Lichtenwalter was my dentist for almost 40 years until I moved out of state. The dentist I have now constantly raves about the quality of his work. He was a gentle and patient man who, I know, will be greatly missed.

Growing up in Toledo, IL 15 years or so after Dave, it was natural that i chose him for our dentist when my husband and I moved to the area in 1976. He was an outstanding dentist and a warm and caring person. And he took such good care of "Grandma" Bessie. Melitta and Jim

I did not learn about Dr. Lichtenwalter passing until now. Very sad news. I have been his patient for the last 8 years. He was, hands down, the best dentist I have ever encountered and one of the most remarkable human beings. He will be missed dearly. My condolences to Sue and the rest of his family.

So very sorry to hear of Dr. Lichtenwalter's passing - going to the dentist will never be the same. I was referred to your office MANY years ago by a friend whose family came to Dr. Dave and I knew I needed a crown put in. She warned me in advance - 'you'll have to redo your hair when he's done but that crown will never come out.' She was so right! :) Oh how I will miss this wonderful man...

Dr Lichtenwalter took care of my grandparents, my folks and my family. Four generations. I enjoyed the many chats we had over the years. Something I miss since we moved away.

I was so sad to hear the news of Dr Lichtenwalter's passing. The Morgenstern family have been patients of Dr. since the early 60's. He was not only an excellent dentist, but also a great friend to visit with on every appointment. We exchanged many ski stories. My condolences go out to the Lichtenwalter family.

On behalf of the Robert Johnson family (Bob, Pat, Carol, Scott, and Ben), we offer our heartfelt condolences on the loss of Dr. Lichtenwalter. He was our family dentist--3 generations--since 1971 and gave each of us such special care. He was more like a family member and his passing is very, very sad. Words are so inadequate, but know that Dr. L will be so very missed!

So sorry to hear of the passing of Doctor Lichtenwalter. I worked as a Dental Hygienist for him more than 20 years, and met my husband there, who was also a patient. A more dedicated dentist and artist in his work would be difficult to find. May you all find comfort in knowing he was loved by so many, both patients and professionals.
