David Kelley Obituary

David H. Kelley, age 92, resident of Sunrise Assisted Living in Glen Ellyn for 4 years, formerly of Alsip and Dalton. Born November 19, 1919 in Miller Beach, IN to Fred and Marie Kelley, where he was raised. He was the beloved husband of the late Joan, nee Wagner; loving father of David (Mary Ann) Kelley and Susan Kelley; dearest grandfather of Erin (Brandon) Barrett, and loved uncle of Brian and Eileen Anderson. Proceeded by 2 sisters and 1 brother. David was a veteran of WWII serving in the Air Force. He was a milkman for Wanzer Dairy for over 30 years. He served as a court watcher in Dalton and served on the board of the Dalton School District #149 for 12 years. David enjoyed his vacation home in Sarasota, FL. Memorial visitation will be Saturday, July 28th 12 noon until time of memorial service at 4pm at Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn. In lieu of flowers, contributions to either the American Cancer Society, 1801 S. Meyers Road, Suite 100, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181 or the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Illinois Chapter, 8430 W. Bryn Mawr, Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60631 appreciated. Funeral info 630-469-0032.
