David Edgren Obituary

David Lee Edgren, age 53, lifelong resident of Berwyn died August 15, 2012 from a heart attack. Loving son of Betty (nee Divoky) and the late Robert Edgren; dear brother of Paul (Tammy) Edgren, Peter (Janet) Edgren and Rebecca (James) Miller; cherished uncle of Alicia, Anthony and Amber Edgren and Emily, Nicole, Calvin and Matthew Miller and Amanda Floyd; fond nephew, cousin and friend to many. David's life stood for caring: He took care of his mother and elderly local family members, his neighbors of all ages and then his city too. He was a Captain in the Berwyn Department of Homeland Security & Emergency Management and was a volunteer for them and the city police for over 20 years. He also delivered pizza for Pizza Hut for over 15 years and loved it because it involved people. He was a loyal and trusted friend to many. To know David was to love him.
