Daniel Novy Obituary

He was pure sunshine. I´m so grateful to have known him.

He was pure sunshine,never to be forgotten.

My sympathy to Daniel's family and to his Misericordia family. Daniel was always a delight when I visited the GreenHouse Inn with my friends. I remember the day his mother was having lunch with him and he brought her over to introduce her to us!
I know he will be missed and I am sure he is adding a bright light to heaven with his presence.

My thoughts and prayer are with the Novy family. I remember Daniel he was such a sweetheart and his mom always talked about him. She was so proud of him. I worked with your mom she was a great mom.

My sincere condolences to the entire Novy family. I worked nights at Elmhurst Hospital with his mom and loved to hear her stories about Danny. I will keep him in my prayers.

I am so sorry for you loss. I knew Danny when I worked at Gateway many years ago. He was such a sweet young man and boy did he love the girls!!! He was always smiling and happy. Danny was a pleasure to work with. He always made me smile. Heaven has gotten a very special angel. He will always be in your hearts.

Pat and Mike, our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I am sitting here in disbelief. With tears in my eyes and a heavy heart I can still see Danny's smiling face and hear his joyful laugh. We met you in 1981 at Ray Graham and saw what a wonderful young man he grew to be. Danny, you are loved by so many and you will be missed but we have all been lucky to have known you. Christopher said to tell you, you will always be his best buddy.

To the Novy family,
This past November my daughter and I took a drive out to Misercordia to meet our friend Jenny and her son Peter who also resides at the campus. I remember walking into the cafe with our group and receiving a big hearty welcome from Danny. Several times Danny tried to walk us over to a table, but he always stopped to acknowledge someone's greeting or wave of the hand with a special word or song. I smiled as it was quite obvious the friendship and love people in the cafe displayed Danny because it took four attempts to finally get to our table. Danny was very friendly, helpful, and respectful and I am quite confident he displayed the attributes he learned at home and Misercordia. Danny will be missed but not forgotten each time we walk into the cafe. I can already imagine Danny taking his place in the front row of the dear Lord's chorus in heaven.

I am very saddened to hear of Danny's passing. I was a long term volunteer at Misericordia this past year and was privileged to get to know Danny. I remember spending time with him in the pool with other residents I was assisting. Danny would do his "bird whistle" and the residents wanted to find the bird in the pool. I will miss him very much.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Novy family. Those of us at Misericordia knew Daniel had the best smile you could imagine and you could not help but smile yourself whenever he was around.

Our condelences to the Novy family. What an incredible person to lose so young. We are so sorry for your loss. He was a great exmaple and fellow basketball player to LJ. We will never forget him singing "Oh Danny Boy," and the great conversations. We will miss his smile, selfless nature and loving heart. What an amazing person and wonderful spirit! His smile and laughter filled the room and if you didn't see him, just listen for his unbelievable singing ability. The world is a saddened place and you will be missed my friend.

To the entire Novy family I send my sincere condolensces. Danny was a special boy and grew into an even more special young man. He would light up a room. I was the Program Manager for Recreation Station when Danny was a young boy attending. He grew into a young man who would one day proudly be an Assistant Director. What a wonderful accomplishment. He deserved it and lived up to the challenge. We at the Elmhurst Park District are saddened by his loss. He gave so much of his time with us. He will always be in our hearts. Danny was very special to us-We always looked forward to seeing him at parties and laughing about the antics of the little cousins. We will miss Danny very much.
