Daniel R. Edick Sr., 82, of Addison. Beloved husband of Doris nee Myers. Loving father of Jeanne (the late Lloyd) Gallimore, Elizabeth (Errol) Kaplan, Deborah (Laurence) Jones, Daniel (Sherry) Edick and Catherine (James) McGuire. Cherished grandfather of 11. Great grandfather of 7. Dearest brother of Beatrice (Ralph) Pucci, Mary (Wally) Bielmeier, Marjorie (Alfred) Smith, Annie (John) Burd, Georgia (George) Puehn and the late John (Ruth) Edick, Elizabeth "Betty" Edick, Dorothy (Harold) Barton and Earl Thomas (Helen) Edick. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service Saturday 11:30 am at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St., Addison. (2 Mi. W. of Rt. 83, 2 Mi. E. of Rt. 53) Interment private. Visitation Friday, 3:00 to 9:00 PM.
If desired, memorials to Misericordia Home, 6300 Ridge Ave., Chicago 60666, where Dan volunteered for many years.
