Craig R. Smith, age 50, of Gardner, Illinois. Beloved husband of Dawn. Loving father of Courtney and Emily. Cherished son of Diana and the late Thomas. Devoted brother of Randy (Michele), Michael (Lynn), Shari Foland and Jeff (Vicki). Dear uncle of Allison, Maggie, Brittney, Shelby (Travis) Breaman, Trent (Alexis), Brieanne and Nolan (fiancée Sela). He will also be missed by many friends. Craig was employed as a truck driver for the last 20+ years. He was a dog lover who will be missed by his four-footed friends Homer, Tank, Moose and Bear. Craig was also a devoted Metallica fan, enjoyed time with his family and fishing. Services and interment will be private. Memorials in Craig's memory may be made to your favorite humane society.
