Conrad Lee Morris

Conrad Lee Morris, 82, of Westmont, IL, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, November 21, 2016.

Conrad "Connie" was born on September 29th, 1934 to Kenneth and Helen (Hansen) Morris in Niles, Michigan. He graduated from Niles High School, served in the US Navy and attended Michigan State University. He moved his family to the Chicago area and worked as the comptroller for several companies during his long career.

Conrad loved his family, waterfalls, fishing for coho on his boat Tinksis Lee, playing gin rummy, reading the Sun Times cover to cover, red wine, MSU and the Chicago White Sox. He also enjoyed hosting the neighborhood bonfires.

Conrad is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sherilyn Lee (Schultz); his children, Marilee Morris (Kevin) Gorman of Madison, WI, Michael Lee (Ashley) Morris of Lisle, IL, Michelle Lee (Paul) Gills of Santa Cruz, CA; and grandchildren, Conrad (Nikki), Philip, Patrick, Laura (Kody), Preston Lee, Haylee Love, Lilly Lee and Anthony Conrad. His is also survived by siblings, Robert (Debbie) Morris and Susan Cuddeback, Bill Neesley, Edward (Tammy) Schultz; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Conrad was preceded in death by his parents, Sherilyn's parents; siblings, Kenneth A. Morris and Patricia A. Neesley; and recently his son, Jeffery Wade Morris.

Per Conrad's wishes a memorial service will be held later on the shores of Lake Michigan.
