Concepcion Lopez Obituary

Concepcion "Connie" Lopez passed away peacefully in her home in Forest View on July 8, 2008. Connie is preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Henry Lopez. She is also preceded in death by her dear sisters, Marina, Arroyo and Sally Schaffer; her step-daughter, Ida Rose Trevino; and grandson, Ralph Lopez. Connie is survived by her two daughters, Yolanda Mason and Hazel Rosati; son, Henry Lopez and step-son, Ralph Lopez. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Celia Baltierra and Socorro Galvan. Connie was the proud and loving grandmother of 21 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and aunt to many many more. She attended Faith Community Church in Stickney and was a lifetime original member of the Senior Club and Golden Agers. She wanted to reach 100, but she made it to 99 1/2. She was born on November 29, 1908.
