Christie McCormick Obituary

McCORMICK, Christie Paul Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and friend passed away Monday, October 19, 2009 at the age of 77. Christie was born on October 21, 1931 in Dallas Texas to Christopher and Mary (Hanusik) McCormick. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force on December 7th, 1950 and earned both his Civilian and Commercial Pilots License. On June 11th, 1955 he married Patricia Jane Connors in Ottawa, Illinois. He retired from the Air Force in September of 1978 as a Senior Master Sergeant. Christie also had worked as a mechanic at the "Flying A" and Texaco in Spokane, and was owner of "Mac's Auto" in Shelton, Washington where he has resided the last 26 years. He was preceded in death by his sister Ann Cook, brothers Robert and Edward and his parents. Christie is survived by his wife Pat, daughter Kathy Popp, sons Michael, Tim, Chris, Patrick, Shawn, sister Dolores Brown and brother Jim of Grand Ridge, IL, thirteen grandchildren and many other family and friends.
