Chester Panek Obituary

Mr. Chester J. Panek, age 84, a longtime resident of Cicero passed away May 23, 2008 at Holy Family Villa in Palos Park, IL. Visitation, Tuesday, May 27, 2-9 p.m. at Svec & Sons Funeral Home, 6227 Cermak Rd., Berwyn. Funeral, Wednesday, May 28, at 9:45 a.m. from funeral home to Queen of Heaven Church for a 10:30am Mass. Interment at Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Mr. Panek was a retired receiver for Sears Robuck and Co. for many years. He served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. Mr. Panek is survived by his wife, Arlene M. Panek; daughters Lynn (August) Martini and Cheryl (Wayne) Paspirgelis; son, Kenneth (Theresa) Panek; grandchildren, Karen and Thomas Martini and Laurie (Kevin) Panek; uncle of many nieces and nephews.
