Charlotte Holcomb Obituary

Charlotte "Cookie" Holcomb, 71, of Edgewood, MD passed away on December 23, 2015 at her home. Born on Smith Island, she was the daughter of the late Rue Tawes McCready and Catherine Ellen (Herron) McCready. She was a homemaker and the best mother and cook in the whole wide world. Mrs. Holcomb is survived by her husband, Louis E. Holcomb; son, Gary Wayne Holcomb of Edgewood; daughters, Theresa Marie Holcomb of Edgewood and Cheryl Lynn Holcomb of Bel Air; brother, Stevie McCready; sisters, Catherine Somers and Rena Wolford; grandchildren, Randy Lee Williamson Jr. and Cecelia Catherine Whitelaw; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Catherine Hazel Holcomb Girven; her brothers, Rue McCready Jr., Joseph McCready and Patrick McCready; and sisters, Theresa Dean and Regina Sterling.
