Charles Ready Obituary

Charles W. "Chuck" Ready a 20-year resident of Wheaton and a former longtime resident of Hammond, IN & Bloomingdale, IL passed away February 5th, 2009. He was the loving husband of Roberta for 56 fun years. Loving father of Rebecca (Bill) Klein & David. Dear grandfather of Michaela & Caitlin Klein. Fond brother of Shirley (Warren) Trager & Noreen Farrington. Chuck was a Army veteran of WW II. He enjoyed a long career in retail sales beginning with the Minas Dept. Store in Hammond, IN, Bock Hardware in Lansing, IL and as a sales rep for Mirro Aluminum. He enjoyed his last ten years of life working with his customers at the Glen Ellyn Walgreens. Chuck also enjoyed participating in theater, especially the Village Theater in Glen Ellyn. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His memorial service will be held Saturday February 21st at 10:30am at the First United Methodist Church 424 Forest Ave. Glen Ellyn, IL. In lieu of flowers donations to the First United Methodist Church would be appreciated. Arrangements were handled by the Leonard Memorial Funeral Home of Glen Ellyn. For info 630-469-0032.
