Charles Kapoun Obituary
Charles J. Kapoun, a resident of Schaumburg, passed away.
Family and friends of Charles J. Kapoun, 79, gathered for a visitation Friday, Sept. 14, from 2:00 to 8:00pm. Funeral Service began at 7:15pm at Michaels Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 800 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg.
Born Aug. 10, 1939 in Berwyn to the late Charles and the late Helen (nee Majer), he passed away Sept. 5, 2018 in Elk Grove. Charles was a Prior Mater Christi Parishioner and a member of the Mater Christi Holy Name Society. Charles attended to Morton High School, Morton Jr. College and DeVry University. He was an electronic engineer working at the Seeburg Corporation in Chicago and at Matsushita Electric Company in Franklin Park. Charles hobbies included TV & Radio repair, backyard car mechanic, traveling, listening to country music and he loved spending time with family and friends. Charles was the former husband of Rose; loving father of Robert (Lisa) and Ann; beloved grandfather of Natalie, Shannon Castaneda and Kelly Diederich; fond brother of the late Robert and brother in law of the late Jeanne; dear friend to many. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.
