To Elizabeth and family and also The Flores Family.
We pray for you during this sad time, but know that Charlie is at peace.
We will never forget Charlie and his kind and giving way's. We thank him for serving this great country of our's.
We are cousin's of Henrietta and when we visit San Antonio we alway's enjoyed being with Charlie. He would take us to the Cracker Barrel where we would enjoy a good meal, but most of all his company.
Charlie will never be forgotten, he will live in our heart's forever.
God bless you and your family's during this time of sadness.

I am Christine Dexter, the daughter of Beatrice Flores Olmos, who is the cousin of Charles, and I live in Minnesota. I moved from San Antonio in 1991. I would come back to Texas to visit my family and met with my Dad and Charles at times, at Jim's Coffee Shop's and at Earl Abels; while Earl Abels still existed.
My memory of Charles Flores was that he was a handsome, friendly, good conversationalist that showed interest in my life when we had the opportunity to meet. I remebember he seemed to always have a smile on his face that was inviting. Although I did not have the pleasure of getting to know him better, due to the distance in miles between us, I know I woud have enjoyed his company as I did each time we did get together. I thank my dad, his friend, for keeping in touch with Charles, and arranging our times together.
I am in awe of Charles and the size of his family. Charles seemed to have a quiet humility about him; and no wonder, with brothers and sisters in his family the size of a "bakers dozen"!
May God's Good Graces be with you as you miss your loved one, taking great consulation in knowing you will see him again and that his friend, my dad, Jesus Olmos, along with the angels, have welcomed him into heaven, where the peace beyond all understanding is.
My love and condolences to you the family and friends of Charles Enking Flores. And thank you Charles for your brave and enduring service to your country for us all!
God Bless and Keep you Always.

I remember meeting with my dad and Charles Flores when I would come into San Antonio from Pennsylvania, and we would all get together at a Jims Coffee Shop and I think we also met up at Earl Abels a couple of times too. I am the daughter of Beatrice Olmos, who is the cousin of Charles. My dad, Jesus Olmos, kept in touch with Charles when he could and I guess they got together at times to catch up on each others lives. My dad resided in El Paso. I missed out on much of the family in Texas because I moved away in 1991, and would come back to visit once or twice a year. I remember Charles Flores as a handsome, kind and soft spoken man who smiled warmly and was interested my life when we would meet. I wished I had been able to know him better. I am in awe of his family so very large in number, no wonder he seemed to be a man of great humility. My dad Jesus Olmos, died March of 2008, so he has welcomed his pal Charles in heaven with him and the angels. They are with Christ in peace that goes beyond our understanding. Good bye Charles and I hope I will one day see you and all my lost loved ones again, God willing. May God keep you, Charles Flores, and your family and friends of your family in his most gracious and merciful hands.

I am signing for my mother who was Charles Flores cousin (his father was my mothers Uncle Gregory and their fathers were brothers). She wants you to know that she sends you peace and prayer in the days ahead; and may the arms of the Lord be wrapped around you in comfort as you grieve your loved one. "Blessed are they that mourn; for they shall be comforted." Matthew 5:4 God be with you.

To the Flores family.
Please know that you are in our prayers, during this painful time. Even though it is hard to say the last good bye, we must remember that it is only for a while, the day will come when we will see our loved ones again, never again to part. May the peace of Jesus be with all of you.
All our love,on the behalf of St. Ann rosary group.
