Charles Fiene Obituary
Charles Richard Fiene, age 90, Veteran, WW II, US Army Corp. of Engineers. Beloved husband of Elaine for 66 years; loving Father of Deborah Ann (Wayne) Reynolds, Douglas William (Carol), Mark Richard (Judy), Michael Lee, James Russell, Kurt Charles and Pamela Jane (John) Dubas; proud Grandfather of 14 and honored Great-Grandfather of 15; dear Brother of Jacqueline (the late Robert) Grigg and the late Russell Fiene; fond Uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Fiene was a 1943 graduate of York High School, and Graduate of University of Illinois School of Engineering and long-time employee of Elmhurst Chicago Stone.
Visitation at the Pedersen Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York St., Elmhurst, on Monday, June 1, 2015, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Lying in State Tuesday, June 2, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until time of Service, 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 142 E. Third St., Elmhurst. Interment with Military Honors Wednesday, June 3, 2015, 10:00 a.m. Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to National Association of Blind Veterans (nabv.org) or Blinded Veterans Association (bva.org) are appreciated.
