Dera Jeff and Gene:
Please accept my sincere condolences on passing of your Dad, my mentor. He was one of the most admired individual and to me, an young engineer then, he was an inspiration. In 1977, after have been 3 years in R&D, there was a glmerous job opening in Markting Services and I wanted to go for it. Frank Adams, then my vice president asked me why I wanted to leave R&D? What you want be, or would like to be? And my quick response was I like to be like Chuck Berger, so respected, so admired by everyone.Frank told me then stay in R&D and I retired from R&D at the end of 2006 with almost 40 uears at UOP. We will all miss him. Dear Chuck,Rest in peace and enjoy your Nirvana. With Sincere Regards and Love, Bipin
